Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has left for New Delhi to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting on Tuesday.
The PTI chairman will participate in special sessions related to health and education in South Asia and will also address the gathering.
Imran was accompanied by senior party leaders including Jehangir Tareen, Shafqat Mehmood and Naeemul Haq. The delegation is expected to return on Wednesday.
In the past, Imran had regularly attended WEF meetings in Davos, representing Pakistan.
Meanwhile, PTI Central Vice President Ejaz Chaudhary left for China to represent the party chairman in seminars and meetings arranged by the ruling Communist Party. The visit was arranged on the invitation of the ruling party.
Chaudhary will meet experts and communist party leaders to discuss poverty alleviation strategies and agriculture reforms introduced in China. Chaudhary will also visit industrial areas situated in the Hubei province of China.
